Doomentor - The Second Ceremony

The unconquerable force that is Iron Bonehead Productions recently announced plans to release the debut 7" from Germany's Doomentor. Picking up where they left off on their 2014 demo, The Second Ceremony is a fitting representation of Doomentor's self ascribed "Black Occult Imperial Doom Metal" style. There's something unique about Doomentor, and only time will tell where, if at all, they fit within the pantheon of doom. For now it's fair to call them a more sinister mixture of Trouble, Cirith Ungol, and Manilla Road; high praise by any standard. Check it out.

Abyssal - Antikatastaseis

Antikatastaseis, the new album from the one-man death metal miracle that is Abyssal, might be the single best DM album I've heard all year. It's dark, dense, brutal, and brimming with atmosphere. Each listen brings out something new. Highly, highly recommended.

Oraculum - Sorcery of the Damned

 Here's something I missed when it came out last year. Oraculum is a 3 piece doom-tinged death metal band from Chile. Super occult-y and awesome death metal.
